Brilliant
Not knowing much about the technology of wi fi I needed to find a card for my Toshiba laptop principally for home use having just come on to broadband. I read a number of reviews about alternative USB products and decided that having more extensive coverage would be a useful consideration. This MIMO adaptor has been brilliant - plug it in, run the software, and away it goes. So easy and excellent reception as it works anywhere in the house and garden. Only small downside is that the card projects 35mm out from the laptop but still fits my carrier without having to remove it.88

Unreliable connection
I have found this keyboard (and mouse) to be less reliable than my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard. It regularly looses the Bluetooth connection for no obvious reason. This does not happen with the other keyboard. I have got sick of re-installing it, so have stopped using it in favour of my other keyboard. Sometimes even though connected it does not work.90

WPA access problems
If you want to use WPA just make sure you update the firmware. Then configure it using the web admin tool and Internet Explorer. I spent ages trying to work out where to enter the WPA pass key. Switch to using IE and the web admin page renders correctly - the passkey box was there all along. Web Admin doesn't work for WPA on firefox, safari, opera or flock web browsers!

The card is a PCI 2.1 spec, which means it will run with old mainboards. The reason is that old boards don't support 3.3 Volts which is mandatory for PCI2.2, which was introduced 1999. When your bought your mainboard or computer before 2001 you have to go with this card (or any other PCI 2.1)
I use this card with an ASUS P2B board and it works perfect. I failed with two other USB2.0 cards before until I found out about the different PCI specs.

I had lots of probs with my 2 wireless laptops, signal kept falling out, tried range expanders a waste of time, then I saw this product, thought I would give it a try, what a difference, both my laptops have full strengh signal, the little usb device which comes with it is overkill, with this connected the laptop connection is like putting a jag engine in Del Boys 3 wheeler.If you have problems getting connected BUY IT, Its one of the few computer things that work. Its also so easy to set up.

I brought this product, only to find out that this is a PCI-Express X1 slot only!!!! be careful. check your motherboard first!!! PCI-Express X1 slots are short railed. Nothing in the description warns you about this.100
Faulty Product and Very Poor Aftersales
Summary of my experience with this switcher:Great while it worked but very annoying when the hotkeys stopped working on one machine.
Pretty sure it's almost impossible to contact UK Technical and Customer Support. I didn't succeed. Encountered faulty online forms and an 0845 number the costs quite a few quid to stay on hold.
Contacted the US Tec Support by email and after a few exchanges, they said the switcher was faulty and directed me to replace it.
Tried to contact both Tec and Customer Support in UK again to return it but same result.
Basically, I've paid almost the cost of the switcher again to stay on hold and the online Return Material Authorization form hasn't worked once in the last 2 weeks.
I give up and am buying a new switcher.
I would have given it a 1 rating but I think it's actually a quite good product when it works, It's just that the Belkin after-sales in the UK is just too poor for me to buy anything from them again.
