Review for Belkin Soho Series OmniView 4-Port KVM Switch With Audio:
However, there's a few gripes.
The unit beeps incessantly during first setup. The manual doesn't mention it, although by the tone of their Belkins tech support chap, it's a common question.
The cable shroud is a joke. There is no way I can cram all the cables under that cover and I've still got 2 spare ports on it.
The console mouse and keyboard connectors are too close together. If you have the USB->PS/2 adaptors then they don't fit comfortably next to each other. This then compounds the problem with the shroud. There's no way it will fit.
Yes, it does beep between machine switches, but it's not too intrusive.
All of the above not withstanding; It's a nice piece of kit. Install is easy if you keep your wits about you. It looks OK, if you can get the cable cover on, although there is a certain geek appeal to having the mass of wiring in sight! :)

Great, but a little extra would have been 5 stars
It works well. It does, as they say, exactly what it says on the tin. However, there's a few gripes.

Review for Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter - Class 2; v1.2 10m:
Simply and quickly installs on your PC. Works like a charm initially (see bottom).
I use this with my mobile phones - Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680 - and my handsfree earpiece. Capable to linking to a variety of Bluetooth devices.
Wirelessly transfer files to and from your mobile. Use your handsfree on your PC as a headset. Beautiful.
That said, haven't worked out how to manage / synchronise my Outlook with my phones. Pretty sure that is not supported on my particular phones.
Also, if I'm going to be pedantic, the cover of the USB end is easily lost as it keeps falling off the holder on the other end of the device.
November 2006 Update
--------------------
I've had this for 3 months. Had a few problems with keeping my handsfree earpiece connected to my PC. That said, it is probably more to do with the handsfree kit as I have an intermittent connection between my earpiece and my mobile phone. I'm downloading the latest driver.
Just think of this as a word of advice. It can be difficult to tell which piece of equipment is causing the problem. Also if a piece of equipment linked to your PC becomes faulty, it's a good idea to update its driver from the manufacturer's site.

Review for Belkin TuneStage Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter Kit For iPod:
BOUGHT ONE, THEN ANOTHER!
I bought one of these and use it with a bluetooth dongle (gear4 blustream) on my Ipod Nano. I am impressed, excellent range, good sound quality and compatible with any a2dp product that I possess (mobile phones). The first unit was for the bedroom, I bought a second for the lounge. Friends have seen my set up and bought the same combination. They are sold for early generation Ipods as the dongle that comes with it is a different connection to the dockable nano, with this in mind traders often sell this unit as a clearence product. I paid £20 and £12 for my pair!72
Review for Belkin Omniview Soho Series 2-Port KVM Switch, USB In & Out:
1. When setting it up i didnt follow the instructions properly (hey what bloke does, right?) when first connecting it to my desktop. As a result my keyboard (Logitech Internet NAvigator SE) does not work at all when it is plugged into the designated port after windows has loaded (it works ok when loading the bios). However, it works correctly when i switch to my other (laptop) pc (yes i followed the instructions on this one).
As a workaround, I plugged it into one of the auxillary ports and it works on both machines which brings me to my second issue:
2. When switching between machines the f-Lock mode on the keyboard turns itself off. This is very annoying if you are a keyboard shortcut person. Perhapse this wont happen if i had set it up properly.
On the mouse side of things my mouse (Logitech Mx-510) works flawlessly and all buttons work correctly.
All in all, this is a solid kvm but I reccomentd that anyone thinking of buying it try should try one out first. Especially those with multimedia keyboards.

Review for Belkin ADSL Wireless 54Mbps Firewall Router with 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Network Adapter:
to set up make sure you know what ports to activate etc, and a basic knowledge of ip addresses, assigning specific ones to computers by network connections--->adaptor properties-->tcp/ip advanced....
also i was wonder why i was getting low id connections to emule etc for p2p, it is because you dont just activate the ports, you name the computers and the ports in the virtual server settings, then it sorts things out nicely
using the hardware firewall provided along with f-secure, has made my computer into a fortress, and as long as you dont just accept anything you dont know on your computer and dont use IE, you wont have any problems

Excellent Switch
this switch is available for £50+ at other retailers. With cables included this is a very good deal. Very easy to connect and get it working. Hot key switch key works very well so you can tuck away this tiny unit out of sight. Cables are a bit long and bulky. Video quality is very good and mouse scroll key works fine. Very good unit for home use.77

Terrible tech support
Belkin's tech support is atrocious. I was having troubles with my Wireless N Router, and when it got to the point the (clueless) tech support agent couldn't fix my problem he simply hung up on me! I'll never buy Belkin again.78
Review for Belkin Flip Wireless 2port KVM USB; Audio W/RF Remote:
I use it to switch between a laptop docking station and a regular workstation, sharing the cordless keyboard/mouse between the two. The docking station is a standard Dell D/Dock, hardly an unusual piece of kit.
The problem is that the Flip *will not work at all* when plugged directly into the docking station USB ports. Belkin technical support were prompt to answer the phone, but inaccurate: they told me that unfortunately there were issues with using USB KVM switches in general, and the flip in particular, with docking stations and that it wouldn't work.
This isn't strictly speaking true. It will work fine, provided you plug it into a powered USB hub, and plug the hub into the docking station. This is not as inconvenient as it sounds, because many flat panel monitors these days have powered USB hubs in them. The USB hub in my Dell flat panel worked fine, and the Flip was recognised by the docked laptop. I actually have a powered USB hub as well, and have the Flip plugged into that now. Works OK.
Another problem though is that the supplied wired remote just didn't work at all. Pressing the button has no effect. Plugging the remote in/out of the Flip, though, shorts out the connector and *does* make it swap inputs. The remote is of cheap construction and is nearly pointless anyway: Belkin provide a little software tray-icon gizmo that you can download. It will flip on hotkey press, which is more useful anyway since you don't need to take your fingers off the keyboard to flip.
I was also experiencing a problem where if the laptop suspended itself after being idle for a while, pressing keys/moving the mouse would not wake it which it used to with my PS/2 KVM switch, but I did not look into that - I just set the laptop not to suspend itself when docked.
Those who have not used a USB KVM switch before but have used PS/2 KVMs will probably be a little disappointed at the switch speed. Video switches instantly, but it takes the OS a little while to notice that the new USB devices have appeared, so your keyboard/mouse won't work for several seconds.
Overall, it just about does what I need it to, but the experience was not a happy one. Hopefully this will prepare you a little better than I was ...

Review for Belkin Flip Wireless 2port KVM USB; Audio W/RF Remote:
Works reasonably well, but beware of laptops and docking stations
I bought one of these when I moved from PS/2 mouse and keyboard to a Logitech cordless desktop setup (one USB cable instead of 2 PS/2).I use it to switch between a laptop docking station and a regular workstation, sharing the cordless keyboard/mouse between the two. Does the job.
I had wireless problems, trying to get a decent signal in my bedroom. Everywhere else in the house was decent signal, but for whatever reason, not the bedroom. The computer is on the floor and in a desk unit to I decided to get a better antenna on an extension to move it to a better location.I added this to a 54mbps belkin pci card and I got about 40% signal from nothing so it does the job, nothing to complain about.
