I purchased the Alu-Leather Edge Case because it looked, quite simply, nice. At £30 i guessed it would be excellent quality, too. Indead it is well made, although it doesn't quite live up to the £30 asking price. The main problem was that i simply couldn't place the iPod Touch into the case, because it was such a tight fit, and to force it in would make me cringe! Fair enough, it has to be tight to prevent it from sliding out, but it was almost impossible for me to get the player inside without really forcing it in, and i didn't want to do that. It's a clamshell design with an opening flap at the front, not seen on the picture here. There is no clasp or catch to hold the flap shut, so it flaps around quite happily! There is an attachable belt-clip and a lanyard (wrist-strap) included.
In a nutshell this case is nice to look and is well packaged, but as an iPod Touch case, it falls well short of something that could have been special.

That isn't the case.
I decided after paying a lot of money for a new iPod, and an iPod Touch at that, that i needed maximum protection against fingerprints, knocks, scratches, etc.I purchased the Alu-Leather Edge Case because it looked, quite simply, nice. Definite knack to opening and closing it, but once you have it, it's fine.
I'll see how long it lasts being dropped into bags / pockets - one thing I would say though, is that the screen seems to be remaining cleaner than with the leather case I had.

Time will tell
Seems solid enough - a snug fit for the E2, and it's secure enough inside the case that it won't fall out, even if you turn it upside down and shake it (yes, I know....)Definite knack to opening and closing it, but once you have it, it's fine.

Don't do it
This case just doesn't work well at all. The PDA is fixed to the case via a side strip which slots into the PDA down the left hand side. But the fixing strip is too broad so that the PDA is able to flap and wiggle around when in use and even when the case is closed, it's not held securely. The case just doesn't meet the most fundamental product requirements; save your money and keep looking.80
Proporta Silicone Case
I have a PalmOne Tungsten E2 and bought this product as it is advertised as being compatible. However, my PDA does not fit this case and is, therefore, not protected. This product does not give the E2 any sort of protection as it will not lock when closed. It may fit other PalmOne units but not the Tungsten E2.
