Review for Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Compact Hub, Charcoal:
Neat and petite
This is a very neat product effectively giving you 4 USB ports in a physical form barely larger than a credit card. This version also has a power supply which will be needed for higher drain products although items such as a mouse etc. should run without the power supply. It only slips from 5 stars because the lead which connects the hub to your laptop is very short although an extension is provided in the pack. In summary, it maintains the usual high standard of build and covenience that we can expect from Belkin.72

Review for Belkin IEEE 1394 FireWire Compatible Cable (4-pin/4-pin):
I couldn'd believe the build-quality (if that's the word for cable construction!) for the price.
Never had any problems with it over the last 8 months.
If 4-pin to 4-pin is what you need (e.g. camcorder to DV-in on a DVD Recorder), I would have no hesitation in recommending this cable.

Review for Belkin IEEE 1394 FireWire Compatible Cable (4-pin/4-pin):
Top quality
I bought this cable about 8 months ago and have used it regularly since.I couldn'd believe the build-quality (if that's the word for cable construction!) for the price.
Never had any problems with it over the last 8 months.
If 4-pin to 4-pin is what you need (e.g. camcorder to DV-in on a DVD Recorder), I would have no hesitation in recommending this cable.

Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 FireWire 6-Port PCI Card
To confirm what reviewers of other similar Belkin cards have said, you may also experience the repeated 're-boot' problem with this card. This can be overcome by disabling the associated 'wake-up' feature in BIOS. Also note that Belkin recommend attaching the power connector on their web site but there is no mention of this in the (useless) manual. I also found that the card-specific usb drivers don't load automatically in XP , just more generics, so when you follow the manual's instructions it looks like the card has not been recognised. Doens't seem to stop XP knowing it's USB 2 though. Firewire sets up OK.
