Excellent!

Excellent! I have quite a large 17ins and was really worried anything I bought wouldn't fit (past experience) even after checking the dims, but this is great, seemed to expand around my laptop and keeps it dust free and in tip top! Great product and quick. Dell took 6 weeks and still couldn't deliver!!

Stay clear & buy something else!

I had no idea how fast and reliable my broadband connection was until this piece of rubbish one day decided to die on me. I persevered with this unstable, unreliable piece of kit for 6 months, Tried everything: having firstly with Belkins own software (waste of memory and useless), then uninstalling the software and used just the drivers, both with and without the adaptor (which appears to have no effect whatsoever).
Slight improvement once I'd uninstalled the Belkin software, but I just got so frustrated how one minute I'd have 'excellent' then the next 'poor', or anything inbetween. Even when the connection appears to be excellent, it can be so slowwww.
As I'd spent £30 on it (at the time) I stuck with it although almost throwing it out the window on several occasions!

Last week, it decided to throw in the towl altogether and I'm now SO glad it did. My friend gave me a Netgear WG111v2 adaptoe (only 54Mb/s) and it flys by in comparison. Now I have stable, fast connection. Just wish I'd thrown the Belkin in the bin months ago!!

Good Product for Technophobes

I didn't have a clue about WPA/WEP. I didn't even know that if you have cable broadband that you have to use a different type of wireless router (as opposed to BT broadband). I was with Virgin Media for broadband and bought the Belkin wireless G Router about 6 months ago. I bought a different one initially (not meant for cable broadband) and got pretty stressed when it failed to connect. Simple to set up following instructions on the CD rom. Took me about 20mins straight out of the box to set up and get a signal on my laptop. If you get the installation wrong just do the hard reset by pushing a small button at the back with a straightened wire paper clip. I also bought a netgear Wifi receiver and it was easy to connect to my now aging PC, picked up the wireless signal straightaway. I will be selling my Belkin wireless G router as moved house recently to a non cable area. This is a good, simple, no nonsense cable wifi router.

I think Belkin make pretty good stuff and this is included. good quality,
secure fit and not too bulky and it's worth the extra couple of quid.

No good if you have big arms

A lightweight product but a struggle to fit the latest Ipods inside (so sweat will get in the top) and no good at all if your arms are over about 15/16" in diameter.

Really Good

I bought this case about a week ago. I really like it because it protects the entire iPod (unlike the other cases I saw, which do not cover the click wheel).
On its first day of usage it got a bit scratched, but I am really happy that it was the case that was damaged and not my iPod (so I totally recommend it!). It really protects it and you don't even need to take it out of the case, you can connect the headphones and the dock while still being in the case.
It indeed adds a bit of bulk to a really small gadget, but it is much better than getting it damaged.
And I also love the fact that it is clear, so it does not mess up the colour of the iPod.

A really recommended thing to buy if you want to keep your iPod in perfect state.

A deal is a deal... they shouldn't change their minds about the price.

ordered it for 1p + 4.50 p&p, and got an email message few days later that it was out of stock, with the order dissapeared from My Accounts order history (so I can't leave feedback).
But I clicked a link in the email notification, and here it is, still for sale, but for 1.95! Looks like they changed their minds about the price.

Well it's a cable that connectors your printer to your PC! Arrived in less than a week and works like you'd expect. Priced at under £3.00 - that's all it's worth. I don't know how retailers that sell this cable for any more can sleep at night!

Probably great

Like D. Nunn my connection type isn't compatible with the Belkin Router. My isp is Tiscali, the connection type is PPPoA. Before buying this router all i can say is to make sure that your connection type is compatible; otherwise like me you may spend a large amount of your time scratching your head wondering why no connection is being made and trying Belkin's relatively useless help-line.

Comfy and does the job!

I have a 17" laptop which gets extremely hot on the lap. I was pleasently surprised that the CushTop does exactly what has been specified by the product details. Upon first appearance it looks quite thick and bulky, but this is actually an advantage because my screen is now perfectly at eye level. Its is very light and quite sturdy and most importantly I cannot feel any heat from my laptop. Only disadvantage which is minor is that the smell of the CushTop is pretty distinctive! Its is quite overpowering but I have been researching on the net that the smell does wear off fortuntely. I would definately recommend this product its one of the best on the market.

Small enough to pack it in

Bought this for my laptop. I have carried it around to plug my laptop for presentations etc. It is not too big, so fits in the laptop bag, and nice and curvy. Would have been better if it was smaller, but I think it might not be practical to fit all the components in a tiny package. I have some problems with one socket in my house as it is too close to floor level, when I plug this in, but this is not a big problem as most sockets are reasonably above floor level.
It is difficult to know whether it is doing anything at all to protect the computer. So I'll take the manufacturer's word and be safer than sorry, in case there happens to be a surge etc.
I have felt more reassured plugging my laptop in to the national grid of some countries when I've travelled recently with it's use, as sometimes dimming of lights etc, does make me anxious to plug in my laptop without any protection.
If you would use protection when you are having sex to protect your equipment, just in case, why shouldn't you use the same principle when using your beloved laptop. Having said that, I wouldn't expect your equipment to blow up in the former event as it might in the latter.

Not worth taking out of the box

Our knowledgeable computer engineer spent hours trying to configure this router on our new PC, he simply narrowed all the problems down to the router simply being the cause. We eventually managed to access the Internet using this router, however it would only visit certain websites and not others. The laptop wouldn't even recognise this rotuer. He then recommended that I go out and purchase a Netgear router which are more expensive however they actually work! He then opened it up and set it up in the way of a computer expert and it was complete after minutes (both the wired and wireless networks).

Do not purchase this piece of junk, get a NETGEAR instead which will actually work.

Fantastic protection

It works VERY well. I am most impressed. I've got a Velodyne subwoofer, and it kept blowing the fuse on a low cost sub £15 extrension with surge protection... I wondered, but I noticed after the fuse blown a few times in the speakers power amp, that the Surge light wasn't illuminating anymore. It lasted a month or two before giving up the ghost.

However this Belkin is going stong, and has protected against any further issues with the fuses. I'm happy that this has been able to mitigate the surges in our area without any reliability concerns. Thumbs up!

What? No review?

I recently purchased a new 17" laptop (Dell XPS M1730) and have been researching cases for stowing it away safely.
I found the measurements quoted to sometimes be very confusing and obviously inaccurate. I knew my laptop wasn't on the slim side so wanted to make sure what I was buying would fit (for info my laptop is 41 x 32 x 5.5 cm).
I resorted to researching the manufacturer's websites for technical specs and finally made a choice to purchase this case (apparently like 67% of other customers who had also viewed the same case - so a little puzzled why there was no review if it's that popular).

Anyway, the case itself is good, it won't win any style awards but it's practical and being plain black shouldn't annoy anyone. It feels well made with solid sides and metal clasps on the carry handle and shoulder strap (important if your laptop is on the weighty side). There's a document compartment on the front and a pocket on the back. Inside there's plenty of room for my laptop with more storage pockets for various items. There's a strap to keep your laptop safe and a divider to take up the any spare space. There is a zip padlock, which is the usual flimsy affair, like what you get on some luggage cases.

All in all a nice practical case that will keep my laptop protected while on the move. I would recommend this if you have a large 17" laptop like me.

Simply Excellent

With 4 slots the reader can handle a multiplicity of cards. I use two, XD and Compact Flash. With Windows XP it can be used with or without the included driver plus it comes with a paper manual! I received mine on the 5th July 2005 and have since used it extensively with both an Olympus Camera and a Nikon D70S. Simply, plug in, use it and no problems. I prefer to transfer information this way, it saves camera battery life, the power supply via the USB port is constant, no plugging cables into the cameras and a rapid transfer of images be they relatively small .jpg or much larger .raw.

Really cheap considering the job that it does and always ready for use. I would not be without it. I recommend that you purchase it, you will not be disappointed.
